Hi there! I’m Sarah Carr, Licensed Massage Therapist, CranioSacral Therapy practitioner (Upledger Institute), Reiki practitioner (Level I & II Usui and level I & II Holy Fire), Body Breath Connection practitioner and overall intuitive person and bodyworker. I’ve been a practicing Licensed Massage Therapist for 19 years and counting, working extensively in Central New York and previously contracting independently with St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse as the LMT for the staff, providers and administration, as well as on-site for a variety of businesses over the years.

I went into the field of massage therapy having no experience with massage, nor having had a massage until I was required to get one for the application process. My intuition guided me at the right moment and I simply knew this was the field I was meant to dive into. It’s my passion, my love, my inspiration and I learned early on that I see through my hands. I often work with my eyes closed and, through that, discovered your bodies speak to me. They call out for attention at “stuck” spots, weep where trauma has been stored, cry for recognition where the energy is overwhelming and trapped, desperately wanting the messages they convey to you on a daily basis to be heard and translated. On an anatomical level, I excel at piecing together the connections between injuries and patterns of dysfunction within the tissues, joints and systems. I have years of experiencing working with pre-op/post-op injuries from the most minor to severe, as well as forms of adaptive massage for all conditions.
